:H Hello I am new here and saw some very encouraging stories, Well mine is i went to the Doc today I thought I would be 7 weeks tommorw my lmp was mar 31, he said I should be 8 weeks and the u/s he did showed 5 weeks. they did blood work and sent me for another u/s which will be next thursday. 8:O Has anyone had a similiar situation with a positive outcome?

Keep reading the posts here. Do you have a tilted uterus? That can throw dates off. Or ovulating later than you thought. Lots of factors. Unfortunately, all you can do is wait. (Believe me I understand what kind of torture that is.) Keep your chin up and post the results for next weeks U/S.

You could have ovulated later and that would throw the numbers off. Hopefully your blood work will come back at the right levels. I think the U/S technicians have a lot to do with the readings. They key things in so fast... I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Hang in there!

I am measuring about two weeks behind, I have another u/s tomorrow. My doc did say that it is possible to ovulate late or longer than usual. I have also read that early ultrasounds can have a margin of error +/- 10 days, that is alot of days.....

Well my bloodwork came back from thurs. showing that my numbers indicated I was 5 weeks and the second bloodwork I took Saturday went up from Thursday. So the bloodwork matched the u/s :)8 . I had anotheru/s appointment yesterday but was so nervous I forgot the doc. orders at home so they had to rechedule me for tues. at 8:00am Im on my way to the doctors this morning so please pray with me that all is well and I will be bringing back a praise report!!!!! :H

PRAISE REPORT!!!!!!!

:P Iam so thrilled and I praise God!!!!! We saw the babys heart beat!!!! B) ANd it was strong and fast!! The doctor was so happy!!! he measured the baby and it put me at 6wks and 6days so tommorow I will be 7wks!!!!PLEASE keep praying for us ,full term and healthy delivery . I want to finally bring a baby home :)O< .

That is wonderful news! I am so happy for you. I know who difficult waiting was.

You might want to share your story with all the info in the 'misdiagnosed miscarriage forum'. All too often doctors scare women unnecessarily with getting dates wrong and your story will give them hope.

Thank you so much for the support and prayers.. Please keep us lifted up continuously I still have a long way to go. Today marks my daughters 3yld b.day today 3yrs ago they induced my labor at 7mths because her heart stopped beating and she was still born :*( . I will truely miss her and love her. Just want to check in with everyone to let u all know that things are going great!!! I am now 9 weeks and 3 days :)8 God is awsome!!!!the beby is growing as it should and the h/b is strong :P my next appointment will be on the 29th so I'll check back in!!!
