Misdiagnosis? Still praying!!!

I think I have read every post on this board over the last couple of weeks. I have decided to post my story in hopes of finding hope. I have two healthy children, each of which had uncomplicated pregnancies. My LMP was 1/2. On 1/10 I started to spot extremely light, brown spotting. I started to wonder and on 1/13 had a positive pregnancy test. Went to the doctoe on 1/14 at which time he did a vag ultrasound and drew and hcg level. Level was 162. Nothing seen on the ultraound at this time. On 1/17 hcg rose to 192, but did not double. Was seen again in the doctors office and again nothing seen on the ultrasound. Doctor told me probable ectopic pregnancy but we'd monitor for a while. On 1/20 hcg 406. On 1/23 hcg 807. On 1/26 hcg 1400. Vaginal u/s done, nothing visible in the uterus. 1/26 hcg 2200, again nothing seen on u/s. 1/31 hcg 3600, nothing seen on the u/s. 2/4 hcg 4800, nothing seen on u/s in uteres, progesterone 3, started supplements 200 mg once a day. I do not return to the doctor until 2/16 again for more labs and u/s. To my calculations the last u/s that was done I was 4wks 2 days. Is there any hope? Still praying! I have been told since this pregnancy was just a couple weeks along that I needed a d & c and possible chemical treatment for an ectopic. Thus far, I have refused. Never had any of this testing done with last two pregnancies. So confused and hoping for a miracle!

Sorry to see you did not receive a reply here. Do you have an update? This certainly does seem like it is ectopic and you should always stay closely monitored in those cases.

Please, update us when you get a chance.
