At some point I'll post a link from the main forum pages. I know how confusing this can get. :distressed:

Kay,
Thank you! :jive:
Thank you! :jive:
Thank you! :jive:
I have a degree in English, but I felt like such an idiot trying to read some of these posts! I felt stupid asking, so I was just muddling through trying to figure it out on my own. It feels a lot like being on the outside looking in :distressed:. But you've just let us all in :cheer:! Thanks again!

I can completely relate. My degrees are in the sciences and I had no clue when I first started reading posts related to pregnancy. It doesn't stop there for me though. My son has special needs and we are always dealing with an alphabet soup. But I was in the military so I suppose I've been well prepared for acronyms I suppose

Two week wait. The two weeks from ovuation to expected AF. Two weeks to wait until you can see if you are PG.

My MIL (mother in law) was in town about a month ago. She purchased a bunch of clothing for my daughter. While we were out shopping, she picked up one shirt and asked me "What does 'B F F semicolon closing parentheses' mean?" I laughed inwardly and explained, "It means "Best friends forever, winky smiley face." I shouldn't have wanted to laugh at her; there are tons of internet acronyms that confuse the **** out of me. I'm glad you put this thread on here, because when it comes to a lot of terms relating to pregnancy/fertility I'm lost.

This sounds like me talking to my mother. It made me laugh too.
This saved me through reading a lot of these posts. I even picked up some of these abbreviations :)
