AWrinkle's Story - Slow Heartbeat, Dropping hCG -MISDIAGNOSED

Postby AWrinkle » Sat Jun 21, 2014 6:46 am

I had an ultrasound done on Friday at 8 weeks 6 days due to some spotting, and baby's heart rate was only 101bpm. My hcg dropped from 116k to 98k over the weekend, and I was told Monday that i was miscarrying for sure.

Ultrasound the next Friday showed 176bpm and a wiggly baby that measured right on track!

I don't know what happened but I am so very thankful. Prayers were answered. God is great!

Oh my goodness, that is wonderful news. Congratulations! You are at the point in the pregnancy where hCG levels are supposed to level and begin dropping. I'm so glad you weren't pushed into ending your pregnancy. Thank you so much for sharing your story.
